W2 Technology
W2 Energy’s technology is comprised of select patented components, including the NT Plasmatron gasifier, the SteamRay steam engine, the SunFilter algae reactor and the SmartFuel gas-to-liquid reactor. These components can work together to provide a cost effective energy system, although they can be also be used individually in almost unlimited applications. For example, retrofitting existing plants to be more efficient by connecting the SteamRay engine to an existing fuel source, or by connecting a SunFilter modular system to an existing coal plant to sequester carbon, and also generate additional algae based fuel.
W2’s mass-to-energy technology can convert any hydrocarbon feedstock (including coal, municipal solid waste, agricultural waste and sewage) into electricity and liquid fuel (gasoline, JP8 jet fuel and ultra low sulfur diesel). Our technology filters out the harmful by-products such as hydrochloric acid, and makes additional fuel out of the greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides). This is made possible, and accomplished efficiently with W2 Energy’s patented components.
